Wedding Music

Jean Murray is always happy to discuss individual requirements for music for any wedding or civil partnership that is being planned, and is keen to ensure that the music helps imbue each event with its own special character.

Many couples like to have classical music before the start of the ceremony in order to create a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere for the guests as they arrive.  During the ceremony, most couples want a short musical accompaniment for the entry of the bride or the couple, something contemplative during the signing of the register and something uplifting as the couple and guests leave.  Many couples also want classical music during all or part of the reception.

Some couples have very clear ideas on what music they would like played; others prefer to take advice.  A small selection of repertoire ideas from recent events follows, but new ideas are always welcome, and Jean Murray is happy to make fresh arrangements of any piece of music that seems to be suitable.
